Software from the cutting room
Our daily work on set and in the edit has produced our own Mac applications. Each one does a single job properly: back up the cards, review footage, log it and write the script – locally on your own machine, no subscription.
EZ-Play
The player for footage straight off the card – P2, XDCAM and SD cards, MXF, AVCHD, WebM – with every audio track switchable.
Offload Wrangler
Get the cards off safely: copy to several drives at once, checksum every file, finish with a report.
Timecode Juggler
Manuscripts with a timecode cascade: change one value and everything after it follows, frame-accurate. Export to Word and PDF.
LogIT
Watch, mark, log: set IN and OUT, sort into bins and hand the cutting room a clean selects list.
